Frequently Asked Questions
What steps do I need to take to get my project completed?
First thing’s first, give us a call or submit an estimate request form on our website! We will then schedule a time (typically same or next day) for an estimator to come to your property to catch your vision for your project. Following that appointment, you will receive an estimate within 48 hours. We recommend you then come into our showroom to see some examples of our work and samples of commonly used decking/building materials. There, you can ask any questions you may have and we’ll confirm your build details. From there you can accept your estimate and pay your deposit. We’ll take care of it from there!
What’s the Timeline look like for a deck build?
Depending on the time of year, we are typically booking out 1-3 months. Once your estimate is approved and 50% deposit is paid, you will receive a hard schedule date for the start of your project within 3 days of your deposit being paid. Once your project is underway, you will have direct contact with your lead builder regarding the timeline of your project. Depending on the scope of the project, we aim to complete projects within 1-14 days.
When and how do I pay for my project?
Once your estimate is accepted, our office will contact you regarding paying your 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project. We accept checks and debit/credit card payments. We also offer financing through our partner, Acorn Finance.
How does permitting a deck or cover work?
If your deck or cover needs a permit (don’t worry, our team keeps up with different city’s permitting requirements), we will handle it from A-Z! We will pay for the permits, submit plans to the city, and schedule inspections. You won’t need to lift a finger.
Who orders and picks up the materials?
Once your deposit is paid, we will order all materials needed for your project. We’ll also pick them up and deliver them to your property on install day.
