Our Deck, Fence, and Pergola & Cover Services

Here at Elevated, we aim to elevate your outdoor living experience. That means high quality work that not only withstands our harsh weather, but also looks beautiful. From deck builds, fence installations, and cover/pergola options, we aim to create a space you love. Unlike most contractors, decks are not an “additional service” to us. With well over 2,000 decks built since 2022, you can trust you are working with the pros. This means accurate estimates, tight and accurate timelines, trusted installation methods, experienced and highly-skilled labor, and systems that are tried and true.

Elevated Deck & Fence was started with a single vision: Elevate the Contractor Experience. Our goal is to raise the bar for the trade, customer, and employee. We specialize in deck, fence, and pergola installations. In a time of disconnect and neglect, we aim to connect with customers meaningfully with every interaction.

We live in an area where the demand for skilled labor is high, especially with shortages in labor and materials. Unfortunately, high-quality contracting has become less and less common. As Idaho Falls, ID continues to grow, Elevated Deck & Fence is committed to providing you with a high-quality experience and elevating your outdoor experience.

Elevated Deck & Fence is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, serving Rexburg, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Shelley, Island Park, and Jackson, WY.

What Types Of Materials Do You Use For Decking?

Our team offers some of the highest quality materials on the market including Trex composite decking, PVC, and natural redwood. These materials are the most durable for the Idaho climate so that homeowners won’t have to worry about paying for repairs or replacement in the next few years. Choosing the right materials for your home will depend on the look you are going for, your climate, and your budget.

Can I See What My Project Will Look Like Before Construction Begins?

Yes! Our team utilizes 3D rendering to provide our clients with a clear look at how their vision will come together. This way you can experiment with different materials, colors, accessories, and layouts. Customers will be able to see different options without breaking their budget or spending more on replacement materials after a project has started. We want all customers to feel like the new addition compliments their home before we break ground.

How Do I Maintain My Deck To Ensure It Lasts?

Cleaning and maintenance considerations depends on the type of material you choose. If you have a Trex or composite deck, we recommend a semi-annual cleaning with a composite deck cleaner or potentially a soap-and-water cleaning or gentle pressure washing. As maintaining your decking is important for the longevity and durability of your investment, we are here to provide accurate instructions depending on the material you choose.

How Deep Do You Set Your Deck Footings?

For the Idaho climate, having deeper footings is best to keep the deck stable during temperature fluctuations. Footings that are at least 30 inches deep are generally the average for our decking. This prevents something called frost heave, which can occur as winter turns into spring and summer turns into fall. Depending on your soil, we may choose to use deeper footings.
