How will you design my deck?

When hiring a deck contractor, you get the most innovative technology to design the perfect deck. We will use the measurements taken at the estimate, your ideas, and our design skills to find the perfect layout for your unique needs!

How much experience do you have building decks?

Our owner, Steven has worked within the Fence and Deck space for the last 9 years. Upon graduation, he decided to set roots in East Idaho and start Elevated Deck & Fence! Steven has installed nearly 1,000,000 linear feet, yes, one-million, and is nearing 1,100 completed deck builds since moving to Idaho.

While we have only been in business for 2 years, Elevated Deck & Fence was voted the silver winner in the Remodeler/Contractor category in the 2023 Best of Greater Idaho Falls competition. We are also Trex Pro deck builders, meaning we have an independent contractor's license, as required, are trained on Trex products and installation, and carry general liability insurance, as required.

What decking material do you prefer?

It depends on the type of deck you want. East Idaho is hit by a variety of weather conditions, making composite decking the ultimate choice for decks! While composite decking costs more upfront, it does not require the consistent maintenance wood needs, saving you in the long run.

Composite decking comes with 25, 35, and 50 year warranties depending on your selected build grade package, keeping your investment covered long-term. We primarily use Trex decking material which is known for its durability and low-maintenance solution for outdoor needs.

How long will it take to build my deck?

Depending on the size of your deck, pergola, or deck cover completing your project could take a week to several weeks. The build may be delayed due to things out of our control such as inclement weather, material delivery time frames, and permitting delays. However, Elevated Deck & Fence strives to Elevate the Contractor Experience and always do our best to meet the agreed timeline.

How many workers will be building my deck?

We usually have several workers on-site working on your project because our goal is to get it completed on time. Our deck builders are trained to use the proper deck building methods to uphold our standards.

How much will it cost to build my deck?

Many factors will influence the cost of your deck build but the following are a few factors to consider when budgeting for your build.

- The size and shape of your deck will determine the amount of supplies needed, materials required, and labor.

- The type of material used: wood, composite, PVC, railing style, etc.

- Whether it is ground level or elevated

- The time of year - spring and summer are our busy months, and material costs may be higher.

There is a broad range of deck costs. The best way to know how much it will cost is to call us for a free estimate. We are happy to provide multiple options and make adjustments to help fit your budget.

When you work with us, you will be involved with the process every step of the way. This is YOUR deck and we hope that you can trust us to bring your vision to life.
